Today, Owen John Sutcliffe was born at 11:30 PM (5:30 PM Chicago time) in Bedford, England.
The young lad weighed in at 8 pounds, 13 ounces. He's a chunk! Carol says his hair looks "reddish," and "He has the cutest face!"
His head was rather big, so some extra help was needed to get him out, but he made it!
Mother and son are doing fine, and should get to come home tomorrow.
Jon says, "Abi was a warrior, a machine". Carol says she was amazingly strong.
Carol is going to stay a couple of extra days to help, and to enjoy this splendid new person. She will be home Friday evening.
