Carol called this morning at 6:00 (Noon, Bedford time). At some point during the night, labor stopped, so this morning they went to the clinic, where they broke Abi's bag of waters.
That did get labor going again, so Abi is in the hospital now, fully engaged in the magnificent work of birthing a new human being into the world.
No news on when delivery is expected, but we guess sometime today.
Carol is scheduled to fly out of London Heathrow tomorrow afternoon at 3:25 PM GMT , arriving here in Chicago at 6:15 PM CST.
