Carol just called (5:12 PM CST) from Jon & Abi's to say that Abi's labor has begun. It's still early, and Carol thinks that delivery is still quite a few hours away. Tomorrow morning some time we should be grandparents!
They're all at Jon & Abi's home now, just taking it easy, but at some point when things are farther along, they'll go into the hospital for the delivery. Because a lot of flu is going around, the hospital is restricting visitors, but we're praying that Carol will still get to be with Abi during the delivery as planned.
I have this strong tight feeling, a strange, high-pressure happiness, in my throat and eyes, and I seem to be leaking a little. :-)
